THANKS. Only a couple things he either didn't mention or i missed. What about diet sodas? and in the "fructose plus fiber" ok range...what would the ratio need to be..how much oatmeal with a glass of grape juice ? That ratio. Wow, may be something to this.
Glad ya liked it. Diet soda has other issues, a future post maybe.
As for trying to add fiber when drinking juice... can't be done.
It's the binding of the fiber with the fructose molecules in natural fruit that slows the break down --- outside of that natural binding, whether through additional fiber laden foods, metamucil or whatever, it has no effect.
I'm still kind of curious what his expertise would construct a weeks menu of. A doc friend of mine that lost a BUNCH OF WEIGHT fast on a food they deliver type program said his daily intake was around 900 cal during the intense burn off stage and the ketones from burning the fat released feelings of fullness and feel-good feelings.
I think he'd probably warn ya about any "processed" foods, like those boxed for delivery in those programs. He advocates the paleo diet, basically stuff you can pluck, pick or catch and those people aren't too keen on grains and dairy, just meat, veggies, fruits and nuts.
