MindChangingHypnosis.Com is the website of Kyle Varner a Clinical Hypnotherapist certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists and the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners whose own powerful life experiences with hypnosis lead him into the practice.

On his site, he has eleven free hypnosis downloads. I've listed six of them here along with direct links to the MP3 downloads. Although clicking on the links will allow the MP3s to play immediately, for proper use, its best to right click on the MP3 and "save link" to save it for later use.

  • Finding Your Inner Athlete: This is a self-hypnosis recording based on the script “Finding Your Inner Athlete”. This self-hypnosis recording can help you to develop the motivation and mindset necessary to achieve your fitness goals. Please do not listen to this hypnosis recording while driving, or in any situation where you may need to maintain alertness.

  • Reflection Pool of Potential (Weight Loss): This is a recording that incorporates my script “Reflection Pool of Potential”. This hypnosis recording is best used for weight loss. I recommend that before you listen to this recording you write down your weight loss goals, and what you need to do in order to accomplish them. Be sure to listen to this hypnotic recording in a position where you have support for your head and neck, in order to allow you to relax more fully. Also, it is best to use headphones for this recording because of the brainwave synchronization that is added into the sound.

  • Calm Concentration for Reading, Writing and Listening: This is the second recording in my Hypnosis for Learning series. This recording is one of my favorite formats—in addition to the usual metaphor that I use, this recording has direct Ericksonian suggestions that are played in one ear while the rest of the recording goes on. These suggestions serve to deepen the trance, and make this recording much more effective.
    This hypnosis recording is designed to help you learn to enjoy studying and to become absorbed in it. One of the most frequent studying problems that students have is that their mind wanders, and, while they may be studying, they’re bored and don’t retain much. Ideally, when one studies, one gets completely absorbed by what one is doing, and thus, retains a great deal of information and does not get bored. This hypnosis recording will help you do just that!

  • Lucid Dreams: Floating Down the River of Dreams: This recording is intended to help you have lucid dreams. It is based upon the “reality check” method–that is, getting into the habit of asking yourself whether you are dreaming. It uses metaphor and post-hypnotic suggestion to help induce those lucid dreams. This recording is meant to be listened to while you are in bed, just before you to go sleep. You should listen to it with headphone to take advantage of the brainwave synchronization.

  • Put Stress in a Drawer: This recording is intended to reinforce the stress reduction ritual described in this post. What we are doing is getting the client to write down things that are stressing them and put them away. This is something that they can do any time that they need, and it is a very powerful metaphor for the subconscious mind. You can read the script for this recording here.

  • The Hidden Treasure of Self Esteem: This recording is a recording of the script “The Hidden Treasure for Self-Esteem”. I am sure you are aware of how important self-esteem is to our lives. It is the building block for everything we do in our lives. When we regard ourselves highly, we take better care of ourselves, and our lives are better. Whenever I have a client who seeks a dramatic turnaround in their life, I begin by working with them on self-esteem. It is a building block for every positive change that my clients need to make.
    There are two versions of this recording: One to listen to if you intend to go about your day afterwards, and another to listen to in bed before going to sleep. Be sure to listen to these with headphones, as there is some audio that will play in one ear and not in the other..
