Weekends I usually take a little time for exploring creative things and people on the Internet. This weekend's discovery looks like it will lead to hours of fun for me (and potential torture for my gentle readers.)

And here is the very first song composed by anamnesis production studios unlimited. It's short and raucous, but I kinda like it. Feel free to remix it or, better yet, start from scratch on your own creation. I expect some great things from this eclectic group; especially our next wavers, Sonic, Mew, Skrylar and Sam; but wouldn't count out their eccentric progenitors either.

Alzheimers. Got Pot?

And here's a curious alliance.

Per an abstract presented at the Society of Neuroscience conference: "Those years of pot smoking a generation ago may have created an unexpected legacy for baby boomers a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease."

"What’s more, he said, the mice improved their performance on a standard memory test — the water maze — by about 50%."

Of course these tests were all done on rats, and everybody (except the pharmaceutical companies and FDA) knows drug experiments on rats have no connection with humans. Now they are just trying to figure out how they can permit Alzheimer patients to smoke pot without getting stoned (because medicine shouldn't be something people enjoy, right?)
